For six unforgettable days, we joined Jarrod Kayler-Thomson on his incredible journey from Cottesloe to the Cape, documenting every step of his inspiring Cott2Caves trek. With 4 a.m. wake-up calls and long days on the road, we captured the raw determination, grit, and heart behind this epic feat, all in support of Kiss Goodbye to MS. Through our lens, we didn’t just film a journey — we told a story of endurance, hope, and the relentless drive to make a difference. Every sunrise, every mile, and every moment of this challenge was documented to showcase the true spirit of Jarrod’s mission, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who follows his cause.
I have had the pleasure of working with Jeff for some significant projects over the course of four years. Jeff’s friendly, personable nature made it easy for me to connect with him and his genuine interest in bringing the projects to ‘life’ was exceptional.
I personally valued his ideas on how to ‘value add’ to certain parts of the projects and his expertise and attention to detail is high level.
During the filming process Jeff needed to capture large amounts of content which meant he was around my team for a significant time. Consequently, this worked out fantastic as Jeff became one of us and conversations on what to shoot, and where to shoot it from became a free-flowing conversation which meant the whole process felt effortless.
